Thiagarajar Polytechnic College Thiagarajar Polytechnic College has been morphed as the most respected institution in the country, established in 1958 by the Philanthropist Late Thiru.Karumuthu Thiagarajar and developed by the Former Chairman Late Thiru.M.S.Chockalingam.

In recognition of the excellent services in Technical Education for the past 55 years, the institution has been conferred with "The Best Polytechnic College Award" by Government of Tamilnadu.

Also, the programmes viz., Civil, Mechanical, Electrical & Electronics, Production and Textile Technology were accredited by the National Board of Accreditation, New Delhi for second term of five years in succession.

The commitment and the keen involvement of the present Chairman Thiru.C.Valliappa and Secretary Thiru.A.Dhirajlal have taken the institution to the unparalleled heights today.
